  • How did you get to where you are now in your industry? Tell us a bit of your story.

    Owner Jerry Hall has been in the HVAC business since 1983. He sold his first company, All American, in the late 1990's and started Assured Comfort Heating & Air in late 2002.

  • What are the most common jobs you do for your customers?

    We have an active client base of nearly 5,000. Almost half of those have a Home Comfort Agreement with us, so about half our work is maintenance and cleaning. The other half is emergency service/repairs and we install approximately 400 new systems each year. We also clean ducts!

  • What is your pricing? / How do you establish pricing for your work?

    Our repair prices are based on a flat-rate, upfront system. You pay for the repair, not parts and labor, and we get your approval before we begin. So regardless of how long it takes, there are no surprises at the end.

  • How do you stay up-to-date on the latest developments in your field?

    We are members of several state and national HVAC organizations that offer training and development. Manufacturers reps also provide in-house training on new products and services.

  • What makes your work different from others in your industry? What are you most proud of about your work?

    We provide honest, quality work and back that up with a guarantee. That's something to be proud of. But what we get most excited about is when we help a deployed soldier's family with absolutely zero-cost services! Children and families are very important to us, and we support a number of local and national non-profits and local schools. We even started our own non-profit, Fostering Faith, and with wonderful donors and volunteers are able to give 1100 gift-filled backpacks each year to children in foster care in five counties.

    Every job is a custom job! Every home is different, every homeowner, and every family is different. They all have their own needs and home comfort problems that we can solve.

  • What do you like most about your work?

    Teaching our clients what true comfort means and being able to deliver that to them at a reasonable cost. And of course supporting our community and schools, which we couldn't do without our loyal clients!

  • What are the questions your customers ask you the most? What is your response?

    In the summertime - how much is Freon? Of course we tell them how much it costs, but we take that one step further and educate them as to the environmental impact of a refrigerant leak, make sure they understand that putting Freon in a system every year is NOT normal, and offer them a free leak search so we can locate and repair the leak for them.

  • Do you have any advice for customers looking to hire a pro like you?

    Do your homework! Make sure the company is large enough to service your needs 24x7x365. A one or two man operation may be less expensive, but they aren't always there when you need them. Also make sure the technicians are trained, certified, background checked, drug tested, wearing a company uniform, and driving a company truck. Don't let just anyone into your home! Choose a company that is licensed and insured and offers warranties and satisfaction guarantees.
